Our Story
At Sattva Harvest, we started with a simple idea: can we turn waste into something useful? Inspired by the Sanskrit word "Sattva," which means purity, our founders, Nalini and Kunal Tambulkar, wanted to solve two big problems — food waste and chemical pollution. By using imperfect oranges to make cleaning products from natural enzymes, we found a way to clean while helping the environment and local communities.
Our story began in Nagpur, known for its orange industry. Many oranges were going to waste, and farmers struggled to sell their extra crops. We saw a chance to help both the planet and the farmers. Today, Sattva Harvest connects sustainable farming with eco-friendly shoppers, supporting farmers and making the world cleaner.

At Sattva Harvest, our mission is to create a win-win-win solution: for farmers, the environment, and conscious consumers. We rescue surplus oranges, prevent waste, and use nature’s resources to develop innovative, non-toxic cleaning solutions. At 52, Nalini is the heart of Sattva Harvest. As an urban farmer with a passion for sustainable living, she has developed expertise in kitchen waste management, bioenzyme creation, and composting. Her commitment to cleaner living and environmental responsibility drives our mission to transform waste into value.
Ar. Kunal Tambulkar, Co-Founder
Kunal is a young, dynamic force behind Sattva Harvest. As an architect and urban farmer, he brings a unique blend of creativity and sustainability to the team. His knowledge of advanced farming technologies like aquaponics has helped shape our innovative approach to eco-friendly solutions.
